Quran Reflections - guiding principles

Reflect together upon the Quran in a spirit of

  • Respect: For all books/people/traditions held in esteem by a participant, whether one agrees with it or not.

  • Honesty: Express your own truth and convey how the Quran becomes relevant in your personal realm.

  • Empathy: Listen without judgment. Listen to the other person's truth.

  • Dialogue: Seek common grounds. Do not feel the pressure to be right like in a debate.

"Silence is the sea and speech is like the river. The sea is seeking you: don't seek the river. Don't turn your head away from the signs offered by the sea."
