It is a classic narrative about Africa's cataclysmic encounter with Europe as it establishes a colonial presence on the continent. Gaining a deeper understanding of the quran and the power of dawah
Join Imam Asim Shareef (Austin Dawah Center & Muslim Space) for a weekly Islamic Studies session aimed at increasing one’s knowledge of the Qur’an, the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the the power of dawah.
This class meets weekly at the Austin Theological Seminary, McCord Community Center, Room 103 from 7 - 8:30pm CST.

Sunday, October 6th from 3-4:30pm
We invite you to join in community for a vigil to witness the 1-year anniversary of the ongoing and continued brutality in Palestine and beyond. While we recognize that this will not provide closure, solutions or healing we know that a unified and compassionate community can offer support, acknowledgement, and an outlet to process one day at a time.
Join us on Sunday, October 6th from 3-4:30pm at the Austin Seminary for a community and pastoral care session. All feelings are welcome. Respect and compassion are the only admission fees.
Space is limited and we kindly ask each participant to register below by midnight on Saturday, October 5th. Location details will be sent prior to the event.
