Hunger-Relief Service Day in Partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank

"Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend (in charity)..." Quran (57:7); "(The righteous are those) who feed the poor, the orphan..." Quran (76:8-9).  Muslim Space believes that the collective participation in service projects strengthens our Muslim community's internal bonds and fosters unity across our larger Austin community, while simultaneously promoting the beauty and core values of Islam. Let's work with the Central Texas Food Bank and share our COMPASSION  with Austin-area families in need.

The mission of the Central Texas Food Bank is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger. The Central Texas Food Bank distributed nearly 34 million pounds of food in its last fiscal year.

This service project is a family affair scheduled for December 21, 2024, at the Central Texas Food Bank. We invite adults and children to assist in feeding our neighbors in need. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
