Please join Muslim Space for our first Spring Cleaning at McKinney Falls State Park on Saturday, March 19th from 9 am - 12 pm.  

“The earth is green and beautiful and Allah has appointed you his stewards over it.” (Hadith of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). 

What better way to kick off your Spring than to honor these words. The Friends of McKinney Falls State Park are hosting a trash clean up for the north side of the Park.  Muslim Space has volunteered to join this effort. Be a good steward and help keep McKinney Falls beautiful. If luck is on our side, the bluebonnets will be in bloom for our viewing pleasure. Register by March 17th by emailing info@muslimspace.org

Meeting details: 
Meet at the Lower Falls parking lot at 9 am. When you arrive at the Park, let the entrance station staff know that you are there for the trash clean up and they will direct you. Note that you may be required to carpool from the parking lot to the clean up site.

The Friends of McKinney Falls State Park will supply the trash pickers and bags. Please wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves. If you have gloves, please bring them.
